Cibo Express Gourmet Markets Coming to Orlando International Airport
Date: June 22, 2007
PHILADELPHIA, PA – OTG Management is pleased to be joining the food and beverage program at Orlando International Airport with the award of four locations at this busy destination. By early 2008, OTG will open three Cibo Express Gourmet Markets with bars and one stand-alone Cibo Express Gourmet Markets in the Airside 1 and Airside 3 Terminals at Orlando International Airport.
With Cibo Express Gourmet Markets, OTG has created the only true gourmet market for airports. Since its introduction in 2003, the Markets have been winning recognition and praise throughout the industry. And it’s no surprise, as the Markets offer nearly 1,000 distinct food and beverage items – freshly prepared and pre-packaged to go. The expansive menu includes a wide variety of organic and other specialty items to appeal to everyone. For this family-friendly Airport, the Markets will feature an expanded children’s selection of menu items. Customers can mix and match their favorites to create the perfect meal or snack. It’s the ideal solution for passengers and employees on-the-go.
“Organic dining is an exciting concept that we welcome to Orlando International Airport. The addition of Cibo Express Gourmet Markets will give our passengers yet another healthy dining option,” says Steve Gardner, Executive Director of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority. Orlando International was rated as the airport with the healthiest food according to the 2007 Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine.
“The expansive variety of products in our Markets and our dedicated crewmembers have been the key to the Markets’ great success and we are pleased to be partnering with the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority to bring this exciting concept to the Airport,” said Rick Blatstein, CEO of OTG Management. OTG Management is an award-winning airport food & beverage operator with restaurants in JFK, LaGuardia, Boston Logan, Tucson, Washington National, Washington Dulles, and Philadelphia Airports. OTG original concepts include Sky Asian Bistro, Jet Rock Bar & Grill, Deep Blue Sushi, Boar’s Head Deli, and many other full-serve and quick-serve restaurants.
